Zhilei’s paper on the development of pan-neuronal genetic drivers in Aedes aegypti now up on bioRxiv. 5 attempted strategies, months of cloning, 7500+ embryo injections, 4 years… Kudos to Zhilei for his perseverance in this effort and to David Tian for his expert help throughout.
