Interested in joining the McBride lab?

The McBride lab is a member of both the Princeton Neuroscience Institute and the Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology at Princeton University. Our laboratory is also in the process of becoming affiliated with the Department of Molecular Biology and interacts closely with the Lewis-Sigler Institute for Integrative Genomics.  These groups inhabit a cluster of adjacent buildings and offer fantastic colleagues and interactions in evolutionary genetics, neural circuits and imaging, animal behavior, insect molecular biology, and disease ecology and transmission. The setting provides a stimulating and integrative academic environment for research training.

Prospective Graduate Students

The lab will be accepting 1-2 graduate students in 2016.  If you are in the process of applying to graduate schools and are interested in our lab, please take a look at these websites describing the graduate programs in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology and Neuroscience at Princeton. Please also feel free to email Lindy ( csm7 at princeton dot edu) with your CV, a description of your research interests, and a general idea for what you might like to study in the lab. When it comes time to putting an application together, Steven Phelps of UT Austin provides some great advice (see “what makes a good graduate application” at the bottom of this page).

Prospective Postdocs

The McBride lab is always interested in motivated, independent postdocs.  If you are interested, please email Lindy ( csm7 at princeton dot edu) to discuss opportunities.
